Le Temps de Livresse is an accommodation created by Fabienne a few minutes from Namur. After living several years in the capital, she moves to a greener environment and decides to create a charming guesthouse in the duplex adjoining her house.

Passionate about literature, it is quite naturally that she comes up with the concept of a 'Bed & Book' guesthouse. She can thus share her love for literature with the guests who stay there. When you enter Le Temps de Livresse, a whole world opens up to us. Fabienne has managed to create a cozy place with an interior decorated according to the rules of “Hygge”. We want to lock ourselves in there all night, immerse ourselves in a book, a hot cup of tea in our hand and wrapped in a blanket.

A stay where time stops, where we rediscover the pleasure of reading undisturbed and with all the comfort to feel like we are at home.

Le temps de Livresse is an unusual accommodation located in Saint-Marc, a small village north of Namur. The city center of Namur is less than 10 minutes by car. The perfect place to sleep peacefully a few kilometers from Namur.

Arrival at The Time of Rapture is between 4pm and 8pm and departure is at 12pm the following day, perfect for heavy sleepers and/or readers.

We are welcomed by Fabienne upon arrival who shows us the accommodation. We enter through the ground floor where we discover a lovely living room with a vaulted red brick ceiling and the magnificent custom-made bookcase that connects to the first floor open mezzanine.

On this last one, you'll find a small kitchenette (a fridge, a sink, 2 electric hob) with everything you need to cook, a table for eating, a shower room with its beautiful wallpaper and a comfortable bed of 180x200cm.

Several reading corners are arranged there, such as a beautiful bench in front of the semicircular bay window overlooking the surrounding nature and meadows.

We take the opportunity to leave our things and relax to enjoy the welcome drink which consists of a Houppe (Namur beer) and small aperitif biscuits from the Namur biscuiterie.

We leave the guesthouse for the evening to eat at Tasty, a burger restaurant in the center of Namur. Moreover, if you don't know where to eat, Fabienne can advise you at the time of your booking.

The next morning, a platter containing a delicious breakfast awaited us at the accommodation at our desired time. On the menu: pastries, yogurt, granola, jam, honey and hazelnut spread, cheeses and cold cuts, etc.

Organic and local products that Fabienne carefully selected in order to highlight the producers of her region. We took the time to savor all these offered products with a warm cup of tea. For coffee lovers, there is also a coffee machine with everything you need.

As explained a little higher up, Fabienne created the entire atmosphere of her guesthouse around literature and reading. Her library is filled with books of all kinds, to find your happiness or venture into other styles. On site, you will find a notebook with the latest favorites of previous guests, perhaps they will inspire you?
